Carla has a lengthy connection with the parish of St Laurence. She worked here from 1998 - 2000 as a Curate and returned to the parish in 2011 after her retirement from parish ministry. In her work as an Honorary Assistant Priest she offers pastoral care and contributes to the worship life of the parish. Carla has a special interest in engaging others in their spiritual growth and offers leadership to the Food for the Soul Spiritual Practices Group. Carla is very interested in Celtic Christianity and is an Associate Member of the Iona Community in Scotland. She makes regular trips to Iona to participate in the life of this ecumenical community. She is a keen quilter and can easily be enticed into fabric stores.
