The search committee is very pleased to announce that our new Rector has been appointed. After much careful discernment, we’re excited to welcome the Reverend Philip Cochrane, who will be joining us as our new Rector on December 1st.
Philip comes to us from St Paul’s Anglican Church in Vancouver, where he has served as Rector since 2019. He brings a wealth of experience in parish ministry from the United Kingdom as well as Vancouver. He describes himself as having a strong relational approach, an inclusive theology, and a genuine passion for community engagement.

We believe he will be a great fit as the next Rector at St Laurence.
